Process

How it works

01

Purchase & receive your codes

After checkout, both partners receive a personal access code by email — one each, linked to your couple.

02

Complete independently

Each partner takes the EROS-Q on their own, without consulting each other. 53 items across six domains, plus open-ended reflections. Most people finish in 20–25 minutes.

03

Receive your personal EROS Quotient

As soon as you submit, you receive your individual EROS Quotient — a private profile of your erotic identity, values, and orientation.

04

Unlock your Couples EROS Quotient

Once both partners have completed the assessment, you each receive your Couples EROS Quotient — a shared profile designed to spark honest, generative conversation.

Deliverables

What you receive

One purchase. Three reports. Each one designed for a different moment in the conversation.

IndividualPrivate

Your EROS Quotient

e.g. Chris' EROS Quotient

Your personal profile across six domains — erotic meaning & identity, self-expansion & novelty, communication, initiation, ritual & afterglow, and growth orientation. Includes your zone placement on the Erotic Culture Map, domain narratives, and one growth suggestion.

IndividualPrivate

Your partner's EROS Quotient

e.g. Morgan's EROS Quotient

Your partner receives their own private profile — separate from yours, seen only by them. Honest, unanchored responses from both partners make the eventual comparison meaningful.

Couples

Your Couples EROS Quotient

e.g. Chris & Morgan's Couples EROS Quotient

Generated only after both partners submit. A shared profile that maps your similarities, differences, and areas of highest growth potential across all six domains. Designed as a self-guided conversation — no facilitator required.

Foundation

Grounded in research

The EROS-Q is built on peer-reviewed research in relationship science, sexual communication, and self-expansion theory.

Each of the six domains maps to a body of empirical literature on what predicts sustained sexual satisfaction, desire, and intimacy in long-term couples.

The instrument is designed for educational and self-guided use. It is not a clinical diagnostic tool. For clinical sexual dysfunction, desire disorders, or trauma history, we recommend consultation with a licensed sex therapist.
